1. Website hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When pages are accessed, technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address, time, requested URL, browser identifiers) may be processed in server logs. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

2. Contact form

Via the contact form we collect first name, last name, email address and your message. This data is required to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and/or (f) GDPR.

Form submissions are transmitted via an Amazon Web Services (AWS) API in the Frankfurt region (eu-central-1). IRS is the recipient of your enquiry; AWS acts as technical processor. Data is retained only as long as needed to process your request, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

3. Email and phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).

4. Applications

Applications are accepted via karriere@irs-gmbh.deand used solely for the recruitment process (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, where applicable § 26 BDSG).

5. Contact card download (VCF)

Downloading a contact card (.vcf) runs locally in your browser. No personal data is sent to our servers for this purpose.

6. Cookies and local storage

We do not use analytics or marketing cookies on this website.

  • Notice banner: Your acknowledgement of the notice is stored in browser localStorage (key cookieBannerAccepted). This is not a cookie file.
  • YouTube consent: Your consent to load YouTube is stored in localStorage (key youtubeConsentAccepted).
  • Language preference:A technically necessary cookie (e.g. NEXT_LOCALE) may be set to remember your language choice. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7. Embedded third-party content

YouTube

Some technology pages (e.g. Milling, Gear cutting) can embed YouTube videos (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). The embed loads only after your explicit consent (button on the video placeholder or “Accept all” in the notice banner). Until then, no connection to YouTube is made. After consent we preferably use youtube-nocookie.com; cookies may still be set and your IP address sent to Google. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent by clearing this site’s local storage in your browser (key youtubeConsentAccepted). See the Google Privacy Policy.

Amazon S3 (video)

One video (Turning) is delivered from an AWS S3 bucket in the EU (Frankfurt). Connection data (e.g. IP address) may be processed by AWS when the file is requested.

Links to LinkedIn and partner websites lead to third-party services responsible for their own data processing.

8. No web analytics / tracking

We currently do not use tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or comparable tracking on this website.
